Blue Christmas Gathering

Dale Heights Presbyterian Church invites the community to a special BLUE CHRISTMAS Ecumenical Gathering on Saturday, December 13 at 2:00 PM.

The Blue Christmas service is a gentle, contemplative time for those who find the holiday season difficult due to grief, illness, loneliness, or other struggles. Through readings, prayer, music, and candlelight, participants will be offered space to acknowledge sorrow while holding fast to the promise of hope. This ecumenical service brings together people from diverse traditions to proclaim that light shines even in the darkest night.

“Blue Christmas is not about denying joy,” said organizers, “but about widening the circle of compassion. It is a reminder that all who yearn for healing and peace may find comfort in community.”

All are welcome!  The service is open to all, regardless of background, faith or no faith tradition. Attendees are encouraged to come as they are and find rest in Presence.
